Nestful ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Nestful app and website, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

4. Camera and Photo Library Access

Nestful requests access to your camera and photo library solely to allow you to photograph products for identification. Photos are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to identify the product. We do not store your photos beyond what is needed to display your product in the app. You may revoke camera and photo library permissions at any time in your device settings.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in Google Firestore, hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections and Firebase Authentication to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share your data with the third-party services listed in Section 3 as necessary to operate the app, or as required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

Nestful is designed for parents and guardians of young children. The app itself is intended for use by adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The product data you enter (such as baby gear details) relates to children's products but is provided by and associated with your adult account.

9. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Nestful account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@getnestful.com or through the Profile section of the app. Upon deletion, your account, product data, and personal information will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

10. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@getnestful.com.

12. International Users

Nestful is operated in the United States. If you are accessing the app from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and stored in the United States. By using Nestful, you consent to this transfer.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the app. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
